Welcome is the word that will greet you when you come through the door of our Church. Planted in our community some 35 years ago, the Church of the Nazarene has been a stable yet caring congregation. Our desire is to love people and to live a life of holiness. We believe that the message of holiness is a wonderful message for our culture. It is a message that an individual can be free from the power of sin in their life, free to love God, free to worship God and free to care for others. It is the message of hope.
We believe the church should hold a very special place in the lives of people. The church should be a place of hope, where the issues of life are looked at honestly and then addressed Biblically and prayerfully. We believe that Jesus is the best hope any person can have.
We believe the church should be a place of healing. You are welcome, no one is turned away because you don't fit in. We realize that we are sinners, saved by the grace of Jesus Christ and our doors are open to all. We really do try to be all things to all people so that some may come to know Christ.
We believe the church should be a place of ministry for anyone wanting to serve. We do our best to fit people where they work best. The church has many shoes to fill in people's lives so many ministries are needed in the church.
We believe the church should be a place of discipline and growth. We teach and preach from the Scriptures and believe that the Bible is the inerrant Word of God. All Scripture is useful. Our teachers are passionate about living for Christ and our worship is God centered always.
We believe the church should be a sending church. We believe in missions. We give generously and support mission through work and witness trips, and prayer support.
We believe the church should be a sent church. Evangelism is important. We share the Good News of Jesus to everyone and anyone, that we are sinners in need of being saved and Jesus came to save us and He alone. We believe that after salvation that there is a deeper need in the life of a believer to be closer to Christ, a deeper walk of faith and we call that Sanctification.
We encourage you to come and visit us. If you are looking for a church home,
we believe that we can be your home.
